About CCTC
Calvary Chapel Training Center was founded in November 2010, but actually the idea was conceived after a conference in Hyderbad, India in October 2008. After many 7 years of visits to India and holding Pastor and Church Leader Conferences, Outreaches to children, medical clinics and evangelical outreaches, Pastor Rodney thought to hold a invite pastor’s and church leaders from all over the nation of India to Hyderabad to host a National Pastor’s Leaders Conference in October 2008. This invitation was to be free to all who applied and accepted no matter where they lived in the nation of India. The budget was 2,000 pastor’s and church leaders. The day of the conference an additional 1,000 pastors came to the conference and were accepted for admission. It occurred to Pastor Rodney that something must be done in terms of follow-up with these pastor’s, who have a hunger for the Word of God.
After learning there are more than 600,000 villages and towns in India and 550,000 of them still have no Gospel witness. Many have pastors in small Christian churches are unprepared, unlearned and unequipped to do the work of the ministry. The task to teaching and reaching these towns and villages is too great for any one man. Although if we can reach and teach the Christian pastor and leaders they can reach and teach their people in their villages and towns, and each one can reach one and this will result in bringing the light of the Gospel in areas that we simply cannot reach. So in 2008 we began to pray for vision and direction and laborers for the Harvest.
Pastor Rodney saw that these pastor’s in rural areas and even the cities have a great zeal for sharing the Gospel, but little to no training and education. They simply lack the resources to adequately teach and plant doctrinally strong sound churches. It was out of this understanding that Calvary Chapel Training Center was founded in cooperation with Calvary Chapel Cary in North Carolina.
Calvary Chapel Training Center is dedicated to fulfilling the Great Commission and the Great Commandment. We are convinced that the best and most efficient way to carry out our mission is by partnering with nationals. It is our desire to see God equip, and send out faithful men so that every village and town might have an opportunity to hear the Gospel.
Calvary Chapel Training Center believes this can be accomplished through:
Board of Directors : Pastor Rodney Finch, Dr. P.I Rufus, Pastor William Cary, Hepsibha Cary.
Advisory Council: Pastor Rodney Finch, Ted Edwards, Dr. Bill Vanarthros,
Pastor Nelson Henry, Holland Gains

“If pastors teach the people to study the Word and know the Word, then the people will be better equipped and able to share the good news of the Gospel with their families, friends and neighbors,”
